Catalina Regional Council has funded the installation of Australia's first Wind Trees as part of its commitment to building a sustainable new community at Catalina Estate. Two Wind Trees have been installed on Connolly Drive Clarkson at the site of Catalina Green's soon-to-be built commercial centre. Each Wind Tree has 36 turbines which will generate electricity to power lighting at the centre.
